in an infinite universe with infinite mass & energy, there are infinite possibilities. hostile alien forces exist somewhere infinitely close to us, and we need to protect ourselves.
To ensure our survival, we must prioritize investing in technology and research that will allow us to detect and intercept, using new technologies developed by humanity, any hostile forces before they reach us, or have the ability to destroy them in total war. This includes the development of advanced space-based detection systems (similar to a radar), faster-than-light travel (warp drives utilizing negative energy density, proven to exist via the Casimir effect, and more), and powerful energy weapons. Things like tractor beams which were previously seen as just science fiction must be developed in the real world. Scientists have developed tractor beams at a small scale, but it's time we start acting serious. It is also essential to invest in education and awareness campaigns to prepare the public for the possibility of alien contact and provide them with the knowledge and skills to respond appropriately.
Moreover, we need to prioritize some degree of international cooperation and communication to increase our chances of success. We must set aside silly political and ideological differences and work together towards a common goal of protecting humanity from potential threats. The more driven minds there are working on this defense technology, the more ideas we have, the faster we progress, and the sooner we develop a viable defense against potential aliens.
The establishment of a unifying organization like Prosperity Union and the prioritization of advanced technology, education, and international cooperation are crucial steps towards protecting humanity from potential outside threats. It is imperative that we take proactive measures to prepare ourselves for the worst-case scenario, and we must work together to ensure our survival. By doing so, we can build a future where humanity can thrive and prosper, free from the fear of hostile forces beyond our sphere of influence. The UN won't do this.
Science Fiction may not be real, but we can make it real. In 1959, the propulsive landing of an orbital rocket back on Earth back from space was purely science fiction (watch "The Sky Calls"), but, in 2015, 56 years later, and just 13 years after SpaceX's founding, SpaceX made the impossible possible. They landed an orbital rocket traveling thousands of miles per hour back on Earth, after launching to space. We can make almost anything possible if we work hard enough.
Humanity will without a doubt expand to other planets, even to planets beyond our solar system. Mars is first on the list, but we will likely inhabit hundreds of other planets in the future. There are countless opportunities for humanity if all of these planets, with their billions of inhabitants (as well as the billions of people living in plain outer space), unite. A galactic federation with the right policies can unite humanity.
Creating a galactic union would allow for the sharing of knowledge, technology, and resources among member civilizations, potentially fostering innovation and advancement. This could enable member civilizations to pool their expertise and resources to create new technologies and capabilities, potentially leading to new insights and breakthroughs. The sharing of knowledge, technology, and resources within a galactic union could be a powerful force for progress and advancement.
We understand that many cultures do not want their tradition to dissipate if humanity unites as one, and completely understand and agree with them. When humanity expands outwards into the universe and develops a galactic union, cultural ideals for each culture of humanity could be preserved, while all still working together to push humanity forward technologically. The future can't only be about hard work in STEM fields 24/7/365; some other unique, interesting, and exciting things must be involved and present.
